CANYON VILLAS AT CORRAL RIDGE St. George, Utah

“Utah’s summer spends the winter in St. George”—at least according to locals. Southern Utah’s largest city has a warmer climate with snow-free winters, which back in 1869 convinced Mormon leader Brigham Young to choose it as his winter home. Surrounded by vivid red rock formations, St. George has year-round golf and tennis, and easy access to two national parks, Zion and Bryce Canyon. It’s a superb setting for Canyon Villas at Coral Ridge.

Opening in July, this new RCI®-affiliated resort has 12 three-bedroom villas, each of which sleeps up to eight. The resort is right next to the Coral Canyon Golf Course—ranked No. 2 in Utah by Golf magazine—and also has putting greens, a gym and a playground. Among the nearby attractions are Grafton Ghost Town; the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site, with some of the world’s oldest dino tracks; and the Brigham Young Winter Home. (www.multi-resorts.com)
